Description
Are you ready to move on from the very basics of knitting? In Knitting 102, you will learn the skills needed to make a hat. This will include learning to decrease, knit in the round using magic loop, and how to measure your gauge in knitting to get items that fit.
Knitting 102 is for those that have taken Knitting 101 (or a beginning class) or if you are able to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off with relative ease.
Sessions: Mondays, July 1st & 8th from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Class Size: Limited to 6 people (minimum class size 2)
Supplies Needed (purchased at PFAC):
- One skein of worsted weight yarn (wool, acrylic, or a blend)
- Recommend Plymouth Encore Worsted, Plymouth Galway, Cascade 220 Superwash, or Malabrigo Rios
- Size US 8 circular needles with a 32" cord or longer
- Something to measure with (ruler or fabric measuring tape)
- Darning needle
- Scissors
